The lid lifts off so smoothly that lighting a tea light takes seconds, and my teapot stayed steaming for a whole evening without me fussing over it. The black finish looks lovely on the dining table, almost like a little lantern when the candle glows through.

The tea light slot is cleverly hidden under the lid, so it looks elegant on the counter even when not in use. My green tea stayed perfectly warm through a long chat.

I’ve had mine sitting on the dining table for a week and the matte black finish really does become a centerpiece. It keeps my tea hot for over an hour with a standard tea light, and the lid slides open without any fuss.
